Happy 6 month birthday Molly!

All the cliches are true--time has flown and you are growing up sooooo fast!

You can't quite sit up by yourself yet for more than a few seconds, but you prefer to be sitting up rather than lying down most of the time. Maybe we should get you an exersaucer. The swing can almost certainly go back to your cousin.

You are slowly getting the hang of solid foods--you've had cereal, banana, and yesterday, homemade applesauce.

Speaking of yesterday--you were a big hit at the neighborhood chili party that we hosted here with the Gentrys. You even let other people hold you and eventually managed to nap through an hour of it. Everyone seemed to have a good time and it was so nice to talk to everyone..

You continue to go to sleep fairly easily and sleep straight through--until 3:30 or 4:30am. Usually you'll go back to sleep until you want to eat around 5:30am. Papa and I have been sooooo tired.

Leo continues to love you lots and isn't afraid to announce it or show it. He can make you laugh and you smile when you see him.

This weekend we're taking a little trip to Madison to celebrate Mama's birthday early--not quite sure how it will all work since your nap schedule is so erratic, but we'll have to play it by ear. We'll get to see GramGram and Grandpa Erv who are driving down to meet us.
