Happy 18 months Molly!

Wow. Just wow. I can't believe you are 18 months old already. This surprises some people who meet you because you are pretty tiny, but you make up for it in personality. You are a happy, curious little girl with a flair for drama when it suits you (i.e., tantrums). You are very much a daddy's girl, but will occasionally deign to love on your mama. You think your brother hangs the moon. Any time he isn't in eyesight you ask about him repeatedly--even if he's only in the next room. "Eo? Eo?," you say.

You are a pretty chatty little girl, with I don't know how many words, but possible a few dozen. You can point to all of your body parts (elbow and belly-button are favorites) and can even count to ten with a little help (but you always start at 2 for some reason). You have some two-word phrases ("go away," and "you're funny, ho ho ho," being common ones lately).

You can run with confidence and walk down and up a few stairs. You love to go on bike rides with Papa and outside is one of your favorite places. Coloring is a favorite activity (although we have to remind you that it's only ok to color on paper) and puzzles and blocks keep your attention too. Last night you made a tower of eight blocks all by yourself and probably could have done more except it was too tall for you at that point.

You eat about like your brother did at this age (subsisting on air some days, gobbling lots of food on others) and you love cheese, cereal, bread, fruit, and milk. The other night you had some chicken, tomato, and pasta soup with us and loved it.

You are very independent and want to do everything yourself. You can feed yourself with a fork and spoon pretty well most of the time. You have definite opinions about what you do (and do not) want to wear (already!) but look cute in everything.

You are a busy busy little girl who loves to play, read, laugh, and dance and we love you super much! Mama, Papa, and Leo.
