Every toddler goes through it sooner or later, and now it's happening to Leo. I'm talking about the stage where they wake up at night and want to play, and are unhappy if you don't get up and let them.
Most toddlers seem to be happy playing in their cribs if you leave them with stuff. Leo wants to be playing with Mama & Papa. Even at its quickest, that means that we're spending half an hour or so getting him calmed down & back to bed.
Needless to say, we're tired.

My co-worker Wendy is willing to loan out their cat Melvin for the night-time duty. She says he turns into a real party animal at night.
