Many Happenings

While I was proctoring an ACT test yesterday morning, Kirstin and Leo went to the UI School of Veterinary Medicine's Open House. Leo saw lots and lots of animals, and even had his picture taken by a photographer from the local newspaper. I got home while he was napping.

After he woke up, we had a spontaneous dinner out with the Gentrys, going to Jupiter's Pizza and getting to watch some of the first half of the Michigan State / U.Conn. game. The boys were well-enough behaved, all things considered, although they both got wiggly at the end. I was disappointed with the service this time, as there were problems with multiple pieces of the orders, and a very substantial wait between asking for the check and it actually being delivered.

We spend the morning buying him shoes, as the current (now old) ones were falling apart. That and grocery shopping somehow took longer than we thought.

Friday night we went to the Fairy Tale Ball at the Urbana Library. It was so crowded, so we didn't stay too long. Leo didn't want to wear his pirate costume for more than 5 minutes, so we let Leo play for a bit, got some books, and left.

Busy weekend!
