Three rings, but not quite a circus

Busy weekend and working on getting ready to head to MI tomorrow. Yesterday Aunt Jean and cousin Alyssa stopped by for lunch on their way up to see family in the Chicago area. this was the first time Aunt Jean and Alyssa got to meet Leo. We had a great time and were sorry that they had to leave so soon. Last night Leo and I went to watch Jeff test for his blue belt in Tae Kwon Do (for anyone keeping track he's now been through white, yellow, orange, and green).

Saturday Jeff had to proctor an ACT test, so Leo and I ran errands and then camped at the library for awhile. In the early evening we went to Meadowbrook for the annual Strawberry Jam. This year we got there early enough to get icecream and strawberries. Unfortunately, we didn't coordinate our plans with our friends well enough, so we had to leave just as the music was getting really good so we could go home and get some dinner.

This morning we've been trying to get ready for the trip with Leo underfoot. Here are two things that are just as funny out of context as they were in: "Leo, get out of your drawer," and "Leo, mama needs your cage (laundry basket)."

Ah! It is the yogi in him who wants to stay as flexible as possible. Leo, that would be a great spot for hide and seek!
