Well, more milestones in the Dougan house this week. Leo had his first cold (with a 102.7 degree temperature!) Friday-Sunday and he got to meet his 3rd of 4 grandfathers (Grandpa Jansen -my Dad). Who knew one little boy could be blessed with so much snot or so many grandparents? Oh, and he got to watch his first Superbowl (here he is cheering on his team--don't ask him which one, he'll say the one with the most milk.).

I stayed home with Leo today (I was also sick--although worse than he was) so that hopefully we'll both be ready to get back in the swing of things tomororw. He's mostly fine, but still has crud in his chest he can't seem to cough or sneeze out. But, he is smiling again--in fact he was in mostly good spirits throughout--you could hardly tell he was sick if you didn't know him well. Even the pediatrician said Saturday morning (yes, they have Saturday hours!) that you can tell he's a happy boy. *grin*

Grandpa is duly impressed with Leo-and who wouldn't be! We're so happy that everyone has been making the pilgrimages to visit--we get a kick out of seeing everyone fall in love with the little boy.
