Dear Molly,Happy one-month birthday! We can't believe you've been here for a month already. You've been a remarkably easy baby (at least compared to your brother) and quickly established a good eating/sleeping pattern. And you do in fact sleep for long stretches between feedings. We feel remarkably well-rested, all things considered!

You don't cry a whole lot (although the last few days you've been more fussy, and have been crying more). Maybe it's because we can read your cues better so you have less reason to get upset? I truly don't know. You are a champion hiccuper and do spit up, but not as much as your brother did.

Leo (like we do) just loves you to pieces. When he wants to hold you he asks to have "Molly duty" time. When we need you to help us with something (get a burp cloth or pick up a dropped paci), we say, "Leo, Brother Alert!" and then he chants "Brother Alert" until he's completed the task.
You had your one-month checkup at the doctor today. You are 8lbs 14oz and 20 1/2 inches. He pronounced you "perfect" (as he did at your first appointment). You can lift your head up and like to push with your feet. Sometimes when you smile you have a dimple and your hair is still pretty red.We love you,
Mama, Papa, and Leo
