That is often the refrain heard around here in the mornings as Jeff tries to get Leo dressed for the day. (Leo says it, not Jeff.) We give Leo choices of what to wear, but often he just wants to stay in his jammies--which we don't allow during the week, except for the occasional wearing of pj top with jeans--if we really don't want to fight the fight that morning). This morning Jeff, taking a page out of our brilliant friend Heather's book, asked Leo if he was upset about getting dressed because he couldn't do it all himself. Leo said yes. So, apparently, he'd rather stay naked than get dressed if he can't get dressed on his own. Jeff promised him that this weekend we'd start letting him try to get dressed all on his own. (Heather has an almost 3 1/2 year old, and I constantly read her blog for parenting tips. She's expecting another little one soon--a girl.)
[Boy I hope this post title doesn't lead any creepy people to this site...]

It's so hard sometimes to figure out what the heck they're thinking! Those little brains come up with the wildest ideas... At least summer is coming soon, and shorts and t-shirts and sandals are a little easier to get on and off.
