Saturday we went to a Derby party briefly--it was very crowded, so we stayed through the race and left before all the post-race drama. The host had derby hats for all the kids and Leo enjoyed wearing his around the house on Sunday--especially with his sunglasses.
Sunday was a gorgeous day, so Leo and Jeff colored with sidewalk chalk for awhile after I washed the cars. They drew a firetruck, since they got to see one "in action" a little earlier as it responded to a call at the end of our street. No idea what for, they weren't there very long.
Look--we have a crabapple tree and Lily of the Valley--and lots and lots of dandelions. We tell the neighbors we're growing them to make wine, but I don't think they believe us.

Today Leo voluntarily pet Hogarth (if you don't know who Hogarth is, you obviously aren't reading the blog often enough (it's our neighbor's dog).
